church membership
Part of our mission here at CBC is to be faithful to the task of discipling the local church to maturity in Christ, therefore, we believe church membership is necessary to fulfill that goal (Acts 20:28, Eph. 4:11-16; Heb. 10:24-25; 13:17).
Anyone can become a member of CBC Riverside assuming that:
- They have been born again.
- They have been baptized.
- They live a consistent Christian life.
- They agree with our Statement of Faith.
- They go through a formal membership process.
- They submit to one another and to church leadership.
*A person does not have to be a member to join us for our Sunday services, weekly studies, and/or monthly events. A person who would like to serve at CBC Riverside needs to become a member.
